One night in Oakland

My room was small, but well appointed, with a large bathroom and comfortable bed. The room was very clean and the linens and furniture were in excellent condition. Being downtown, I expected to hear noise but it was pretty quiet. The neighborhood is about what you'd expect for downtown, but the hotel felt safe.

The staff was friendly. We were told ahead of time to be careful in the neighborhood after dark because there were some problems. But inside the motel we felt safe. They did well with keeping the guests safe. You had to identify yourself and then you were allowed inside the building. Breakfast was served with various selections that you could warm up in the microwave.

Good deal for price

Room was pretty clean, although I think the refrigerator was leaking because the floor has some wet spots. Comfortable bed, great location.

We had a beautiful suite with a jacuzzi and big bathroom room but windows were not isolated and the noise of the city was constant especially at night! Also loud guests at anytime of the night, not a sound proof hotel! Friendly staff.

Worth the money

The elevator was really slow and they house keep every three days so you have to request service if you want it sooner. But to be honest those are the biggest complaints I could come up with staff was polite and helpful ever in the late late hours. The continental breakfast was nice and the room was comfortable and clean.

No fills and plenty of pot odor older hotel

Older hotel very small rooms housekeeping was only on the weekend. Not sure if we has to ask bit we did ok with kist hanging the towel on thrower rack on the bathroom towel rack to dry. Breakfast is so heavily carb don’t expect any fruits or low carb Hotel smelled of pot all the time Elevator is small and carpeting is extremely warn Bug in the bed appeared to be a boxelder but couldnt tell for sure. It was only one and killed it. Other than these items all good
