Some pros and cons. But 1 ply toilet paper?!
I recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was impeccably clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the view left much to be desired, facing a car park. Even with the curtains shut, car headlights still managed to disturb our sleep. The room, despite its cleanliness, showed signs of wear and tear. There was chipped paint, numerous scratches and dents in the walls, and even rust on the soap dispenser. These details made the room feel quite tired, which was disappointing for a boutique hotel. Additionally, I was surprised to find only one-ply toilet paper provided, and the walls were so thin that we could hear every conversation from the neighboring rooms. For the price, I expected better amenities and a more serene experience.

Could have been worse but not great.
Not the hotels fault but woken at 00.30 by other guests slamming doors and raised voices. Bed was extremely hard and bad odor from shower drains.

Nice hotel but lacking customer service
Good points: Lovely room nice and clean. Evening meal burger was very tasty. Improvements needed: No one on reception on arrival, bar staff went to find someone. Reception lady not exactly welcoming. Unable to add drinks or food to room bill was a bit of a pain to pay for each drink on a card. Served food in the bar but no one cleared the plate or asked how the meal was. (The bar/restaurant was virtually empty). Breakfast couldn’t find anyone in restaurant, grabbed a cup of tea (pre made tea in an urn not a great idea) and sat down. After 5 minutes I managed to find someone to order. Management need to focus the staff to ensure to make every guest feels valued when they visit. I almost felt I was an inconvenience.

Nice enough room and friendly staff. Evening food and breakfast was pretty bad. Cold chilli in the evening followed by breakfast that left a lot to be desired in the morning. £3 for a tea bag in a pot too. Played golf too but the fairways were in such bad condition the course should have been closed. (Signature course)

The rooms are tired, huge crack down one wall in corner although our bathroom had been remodelled more recently. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Really, unless playing golf it would be hard to recommend for a stay in Nottingam

The staff were very friendly,food was good in the bar,great choices. The only problem we found was the room was very cold,when we tried turning the heating up it wouldn’t turn up as it had been restricted,it was late at night so there was nobody available to help us to sort the issue out.
