Pleasant stay before Christmas.
Reception were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, clean and fresh. Breakfast was really good and being vegetarians, the staff catered for us. Being close to the centre, we were able to walk in the city and enjoy the Christmas markets.

Park Plaza Nottingham, 5 star stay
Fantastic stay, it really was faultless. The instructions to find the parking was great and cost £20 for 24 hours. You need to request parking by emailing the hotel. Check in was perfect, Lucia explained ever including room service, breakfast times & onsite restaurant (which serves pan-asian food) & bar info. It was a visually pleasing reception area and lovely and warm which is always a plus for me. The room was great, we booked a superior room. The bed was lovely and comfy, there was a large tv & a fridge with waters included. The bathroom was modern with toiletries included. We had a city view and could see part of the Xmas market from our room. Breakfast was amazing, there was a self service hot buffet, cold meats, pastries, cereals etc. There was a dedicated gluten free area with a toaster specifically for gluten free use. The location is central and only 5 minutes walk to bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

Good location, walkable to Winter Wonderland and other central attractions. Secure underground car parking. Super easy and convenient to check in online prior to arrival and getting a digital room key so you can go straight to your room. I stayed in a junior suite and was pleased with the spaciousness and having a sitting room separate from the main bedroom area with plenty of storage space, convenient amenities and comfortable bed. This was on the 10th floor and I could still hear the noise of trams and traffic throughout the night despite having the main window and the glass shutters closed. Bathroom could do with a bit of maintenance to modernise it (shiny metal sink, outdated taps in the shower over a bath) but nevertheless still a big bathroom. Breakfast was my favourite part - a warm greeting each morning and plenty of fresh hot and cold choices for starting your day right. Friendly reception staff. My only minor criticism was the options for opting out of daily room cleaning; a bottle of wine was on offer which I opted for, and when I went to claim it at reception they said the app was out of date and they no longer offer bottles of wine; this was replaced with a drinks voucher in the bar.

Winter wonderland visit
It is very convenient for the winter wonderland. Local night club music from 9 pm until 4am. Very loud. Told no room in the restaurant whe we asked at 5pm then sat for a drink and it was still completely empty in th restaurant? We could have eaten and left. Staff very friendly.
