On visits to Nottingham we stay in the Orchard based on location, atmospher, breaksfast, parking, EV charging and the tram stop to City Centre is a 5-10 minute walk.

Rude staff, overall too frustrating to recommend
A person at the bar at 9:40 on Friday night told us the kitchen closed at 10, and that she didn’t know if the kitchen would make food for us anymore. She said she’d have to ask and wouldn’t take our order. She didn’t go and ask. Five minutes later I asked her to please put our order in and she said she wouldn’t because she hadn’t asked the kitchen if they would mind making us some food yet. I showed her on my phone that it wasn’t ten o’clock yet and just told her our order. She sarcastically said “that sounds amazing” and then said she had no way of knowing whether the kitchen would actually make it. I asked her to please go and ask them (instead of waiting until the kitchen actually closed) She went off and of course came back and said the kitchen didn’t feel like making our food (it was not yet 10:00 when she said this). She said they stopped taking orders at 9:45, which is 5 minutes after I asked her to put in our order. We get it, when we’re traveling from America: nothings ever open and we should just plan on not eating. But constantly throwing it in our faces that we can’t get good when we’re hungry even if the kitchen is still open seems to be a pastime with this hotel, as someone came and told us they had the problem with the same red haired woman at the bar. Fortunately the woman at the front desk was wonderfully helpful. She went and had a word with the kitchen staff and we were able to get our meal. So annoying tho.

Everyone has been nice and helpful. The wash basin was blocked and not enough English tea and milk been provided but once mentioned to the staff then all been solved. The dining lady Tan was very nice and she suggested some good restaurants around the area.

Absolutely brilliant hotel Great and caring service at check in and from all the hospitality staff at the bar and restaurant. We only had a short stay but would definitely go back and whole heartedly recommend Room a great size with excellent amenities

The whole experience was excellent from the welcome to the leaving. Staff very good friendly helpful pleasant. Breakfast excellent variety of food offered staff helpful and tables were cleared quickly. I cannot find any faults with the hotel and looking forward to staying again when we are visiting Nottingham

The hotel was modern and clean. The beds were really comfortable and the room was clean. However, the coffee mug was not clean, still had evidence of a ring where cold coffee from a previous customer was still visible. The restaurant was good and the staff very attentive. The menu was a little disappointing in that it was a snack menu with not a great deal of choice. However the food was well cooked and nicely presented. Check in and check out was easy and the staff were helpful and professional.
