We were put in the lobby area in a handicap room for our romantic weekend away.then put into a double queen that the ac didn’t work only heat and we’re sweating all night.lots of children so using the pool or jacuzzi wasn’t a option.we asked to check out before checkout and was told we would be charged regardless.They said we could speak manager but wouldn’t be in for an hour. So we skipped our breakfast and waited.we wanted to salvage our weekend getaway by checking out before 11:00 but manager never showed we called back and was told sorry nothing we can do.so we went to there restaurant and got the wrong order and was less than great.very disappointed in our stay and service

A brake from work to do some shopping and dining

Great location near shopping in North Conway. This was a quick escape from the grind of work, and the location near shopping and dining was excellent. Front desk and staff are very friendly, including toward "third party" booking guests. While we did not spend enough time to take advantage of spa resources, they are available onsite. The place is in need of some repairs and maintenance, but is actually in pretty good shape for the the property age. HVAC was a bit difficult to make comfortable. Bed and linens were good quality. Robes in the room are a nice touch. We had dinner in the bar/lounge, and that was a pleasant experience with good and friendly service.

Room was dirty with skittles candy on the floor from a previous occupants. Tub drain broken and left in tub. Door Stop was broken and left hanging off wall. Soap dish in shower was half broken off. Tile missing in the shower wall was totally filled with caulking instead of being replaced. Bathroom counter made of stone has a whole from erosion and was also cracked in a a couple spots separate from the whole. Top it off the TV volume didn’t work so we had to read the TV via CC for the hearing impaired. One of the elevators also was out of service with a hotel full of sports team running around like wild animals. Room was overpriced. We used all of One Key Reward to lower room but felt totally ripped off. I let the GM know and all they responded was thank you. This will help to make changes .. No refund, no discounts, no compensation and nothing to help us out at all .. This place was a total waste of time & money. We do not recommend this place at all.

Everything was ok until housekeeper told us to change our own garbage and our own trash . We had no problem doing but when we ask for new towels she told us to call front desk. I left msg for head of housekeeping department. No one call. I left a makeup bag talk to manager from front desk who guaranteed a call back is been a week.

Would not book again

I would not stay at this hotel again. If you are looking for an affordable option and have kids it is okay. The staff wasn’t always friendly, the room had half a roll of toilet paper left when I checked in, without any extra rolls in the room. The pool closed the second day of my stay and remained closed. I picked the hotel for the indoor pool and the proximity to shops. and that was a reason I picked the hotel. The ice machine was broken. Each of these incidents had signs “sorry for the inconvenience.” The beds are very uncomfortable and it looks like they haven’t put any money into the hotel for awhile. The walls are very thin.
