Room and fixtures were dusty, walls scuffed badly and in need of a paint job, the window wouldn't lock closed. The room above us had children bouncing a ball in their room most of the day/night. We alerted the front desk and their main concern was whether or not they had done it late enough at night to actually do something about it.

They tried to call us 60 minutes after check in time to see if we were coming. We didn’t answer so I think they gave away out room and put us in the handicapped room. Bed was horrible, sunken in the middle. Room very outdated, blood was on one of the only chairs. Would not stay there again.

First, dont judge a book by its cover. The building looks old but then again look at the name...Colonial. I stayed last year at a place that looked nice but when we got in the room there were things that were broken. Got in around 9 o'clock after a 4 hour drive for me. We opened the door and it was so nice to find the heat had already been turned on. How comfy. The big hotels I've gone to, you get in THEN turn the heat on yourself. Front desk was always helpful and friendly. The room had everything the big hotels have except maybe an ironing board or breakfast but there are breakfast places within walking distance. How often do you really need an ironing board. It was clean. I'm staying at Colonial Motel from now on when I'm heading that way again which will be every year.

This was our first Motel we have stayed in. We stayed there one night. It was very clean but the room needed updating, but beyond that it was good! The room was not much to look at, but we all want a clean place to stay and this worked out great. The guy that works here is a very hard worker and will make sure your stay is as good as it gets!!

Last month we tried the Colonial because our normal hotel was booked & this hotel had an outdoor pool & very welcoming front yard with firepit & plenty of outdoor seating options also a very cute retro look. To our surprise the room(king) was updated, clean & complete with fridge, microwave & coffeemaker plus the price was very reasonable. However it was the manager (Evan) who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable & for that reason we returned several weeks later & will return again later this year. A continental breakfast would be welcome as finding breakfast on Mondays & Tuesday is difficult if you are in a hurry as check out is 10AM.

Convenient to restaurants. The room was clean but the bathroom was tiny. Couldn’t take a shower without the shower curtain all over me. The bed was very firm with no pillow top to soften it some.

Check in was weird, couldn’t understand what the person was saying. Room smelled, mildew in bathroom. There was a big tv and bed was okay. Overall if they would clean the mildew we would stay again because of the convenience to downtown.
