Great stay

Beautiful location, our balcony view was beautiful! We went during the offseason so we only were able to use the indoor pool but it was great, it was a small lazy river and had some little coves for sitting in the pool. Their outdoor pools looked even better. Beach access was directly in front of the hotel. Room was clean. They have parking on premises, it is $10/night but they made me a rewards member so I could have that fee waived. Only thing I wish they had was a free continental breakfast.

The hotel was great, I loved the palm trees right off our balcony. A lot of other hotels at the oceanfront don't have those. It was really clean as well. The pool is very nice, better than what I expected because the website doesn't really emphasize the pool, there's only 1 picture of it. They don't mention the lazy river that goes around the perimeter, which is a big selling point, I think. Very unique pool. However- there were lots of kids without adult supervision. The kids were loud and rowdy- splashing everyone, hitting us with their pool toys on accident, and yelling. Noone was around to control them, for hours- no one from the hotel and no parents. The hot tub was ice cold, colder than the pool. One of the nights, there was a child's birthday party, VERY loud music from someone who brought a speaker, and adults drinking beer out of a cooler. The music was so loud I couldn't talk to my 4 year old daughter without yelling at the top of my lungs. The hotel apparently charged me for parking- $10. Not sure why, and they didn't disclose this either. I checked out 3 weeks ago and the incidentals charge that they took out of my account upon check- in is STILL pending. I called the hotel 2.5 weeks after checkout and the employee said he manually pushed it through, so it should fall off in 3-5 business days. But it hasn't yet, and not sure it will. It seems stuck. He said to call my bank, but they will just tell me to call the hotel. (I work for a bank so I know how it works)

The property is well kept and very clean. The staff is exceptional. The rooms are large and very nice. The water park is a very good alternative for some of the larger more expensive ones in the area especially if you have small children.

My stay was great! The VB Holiday Inn and Suites is one the the best hotels I've stayed at. They were accommodating for my requests to set up the room before I arrived after our wedding. The facility was very clean compared to a lot of top dollar hotels, I've been. A hidden gem is the perfect water pressure in the showers. We will be returning for our anniversary.

Parking across street, narrow room entrance for luggage cart, requested handicapped room, balcony door extremely hard to open. Breakfast for 2 extra )35, adked front desk for my rewards number as I tried 4 times on website and kept being bumped out and staff said she couldn’t get it go on ILG website or call, then let front desk know and they will apply… not customer service oriented especially when on Wednesday night not busy, corridors and rooms too hot 70 degrees.

The heated pool area could have been a lot warmer. I really wish the hotel would be harsher on marijuana use. Every time we got in the elevator that’s all you could smell. You could also smell it walking through the halls. The clerk that checked us in was SUPER nice and accommodating with an early check-in.
