Not what I anticipated...
Very nice staff but a bit disappointing that the place looks nothing like the pictures showing on the site. Sure the house is there but the rooms are placed in what can only be described as something that looks like 1970`s school buildings in Russia. Surroundings were nice and the staff super friendly...

A Countryside Inn with Charm
This hotel is far from any major city and the reviews in Swedish were damning so we were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff and other guests at Akerby Herrgard. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed the short walk to the nearby lake. Nora is a quaint little town nearby with a couple of good restaurants. Breakfast is nothing special but overall the hotel was a great value with loads of charm and character.

Rent och snyggt. Bra sängar, extra filt och kudde fanns. Varmt och skönt i rummet. Rummet var litet och badrummet litet, men det funkade bra.

Trevligt hotell i vackra Bergslagen

Att kalla detta herrgård är att vilseleda. Motell är mera passande. Okunnig personal. Frukosten var undermålig. Inget småvarmt serverades. Frukosten en söndag serverades 8:15-9:00. Vem vill gå upp så tidigt en söndag? Inget jag kan rekommendera!
