for an adult only resort the pool closes early, they didnt tell me when my room was ready, the process to get into a restaurant is absurd. You have to line up at 5pm and by 7pm they didnt take any more guests, and the food wasnt great

The staff made our vacation amazing. They are so nice and friendly. They provide whatever you need with a smile and immediately. The food is outstanding. The shows are good especially the shows they involved the guests. They were so much fun. The housekeeping staff always greets you with a smile. Ish at the front desk checked us in and she was absolutely awesome. Nelson and the bar staff by the pool are so much fun. We hadn’t ever been on a vacation before and we were blown away by the staff and service. Kudos to Maria the GM. She really knows how to treat her staff and keep they happy so that trickles down to the guests. We loved this hotel!!!!!

I was not impressed with this property. It was a bit outdated. The room we stayed in the Phone did not work. The gym really needs to be bigger and they need new equipment. They did not have enough equipment to accommodate their guests. Customer service was OK. The food wasn’t what I expected. The room service really not good. The resort also charge for water over usage. I was charged $20 each time that happened. So please be aware. I would only recommend a person or persons to stay at this resort only three days.

We’ve stayed at many different Riu hotels in the past and this property did not meet our expectations. Run down (torn carpet in the hallways, broken down elevators) and lacking the customer service friendliness we’re accustomed to. We enjoyed our stay because of the company we were with.

The staff was so friendly.... the beach was perfect... the room was clean... and there was a great selection of food! Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the beach didn’t meet our expectations. The sand in the water was muddy and had a gooey texture, which made the experience less enjoyable than anticipated. Besides this, everything else was great!!!

Staff was on the mark! However the mattress need to be upgraded along with the furniture, sofa bed cushions pop up when you sit on it. Also we were elite club which was great getting in restaurants no wait however beware if you’re going before next year because they’re renovating the RIU & the elite pool is right there & noise all day 7 days .

Muito bom mas com algumas observações

No geral nossa estadia foi muito boa. Tivemos só 3 problemas: 1.) Certo nível de incomodo por barulho diurno de construção e shows noturnos (até umas 23h) vindos do prédio do Aruba Palace. 2.) Nos primeiros dias o sistema de ar condicionado gelava demais depois regularam melhor a temperatura* creio que o ar frio do corredor adentrava pelas porta do quarto (ou seja, não adiantava regular a temperatura interna do quarto, precisávamos deixar a sacada aberta mas mesmo assim, com 27ºC externo, ficava frio dentro do quarto). 3.) O banheiro não tem ducha higiênica, ou seja, limpar a seco só com papel higiênico nem sempre é possível. De resto há um nítido predomínio dos americanos (talvez porque sejam a grande maioria e esbanjem seus dólares com gorjetas pra tudo.). Há dificuldade (como a maioria dos resorts) de conseguir os quiosques beira mar (pra garantir precisa acordar 6h da manhã). Apesar de somente ter tido dificuldade pra conseguir ir no SteakHouse (tive que chegar às 17:30h e já havia fila), sugiro implantar o sistema de reservas dos restaurantes temáticos pra evitar frustrações ou esperas desnecessárias.

The resort was beautiful and the staff were great. Food especially the buffet and steakhouse were great. Drinks were plenty and the best bartender was Piri. She’s absolutely fabulous. Our only complaints are the elevator situation not enough of them, entertainment was limited, and the construction going on at the sister resort. Last but not least was the experience at the airport when departing….what a cluster. Way too many security checks and long lines to wait in.

Staff was amazing especially Piri at the Elite club pool bar. Need more elevators. The jackhammering by the Elite Pool was really noisy and wish we would have known that ahead of time. Being able to get off the resort was great.

Property was nice and everything was close. If you wanted a spot on the beach you had to wake up before 6am to go claim it. People started lining up for restaurants at 5pm (they open at 6) because they don't do reservations. Way too much work for me personally when I'm on vacation. Our TV stopped working halfway through our week and we asked for someone to come to fix it but they never did. Wasn't a big deal because we didn't spend a lot of time in the room but it would have been nice to have in the evening. The buffet was good but the one at the Riu Palace was much better. Staff were okay, they were much friendlier at the Riu Palace which is where we ended up spending most of our time. Overall okay stay.
