Disliked: Staff & service
Hot water system is poor, low water pressure and very slow heating rate.
The hotel is located right in front of lake Toya with direct access for viewing fireworks. The buffet dinner and breakfast provided has lot of selection but quite similar. The room is clean, spacious but aircon is weak. One bonus is that they have easy fitting ladies Yukata rental at affordable price.

Hotel is large and has a number of bath houses. Room is large. Hotel has transport from Sapporo station at a fee. Breakfast and dinner buffets have good variety. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel to take to train station.
They have 2 outdoor onsens, both are wonderful. I especially enjoyed the electronic massage chairs after bathing. Also there’s a fireworks show every night behind the hotel in the summer.
The Hotel location is great. The lake is so beautiful. The hotel building, room size and breakfast are great. However, I was charged 600 Yen for the additional tax. I am not happy about the room floor (assigned the first floor) and the service did not agree to change the floor location.
This hotel was excellent. The view was perfect. We could see the fireworks from our room window. The hotel had 2 onsen and the upstairs one was spectacular! Buffet was great and there’s lots of amazing food options along the street. Overall, breathtaking as a hotel.
The hotel lobby and onsend is renovated. However the room is poor maintenance. Still using 80s key room. Shower is olden day shower type. Room is centralise aircon. When enter room is stuffy. Staff is friendly however not all English speaking. Buffet spread overall is ok.
Luxuriously appointed hotel. Slightly aged but still well-maintained. The room felt decadently large after all the cramped rooms in the cities.
Quite a few of the staff are able to speak decent English and there are Chinese speakers as well.
The lake view is gorgeous and we were able to enjoy the nightly fireworks without braving the cold weather.
The buffet breakfast and dinner had a good spread and is about the same every day.
Have to say that the shower in the room is better than the ones in the onsen which are prone to have sudden fits of differing water temperature. But we are there for the onsen after all.
Family friendly facilities , indoor play area for young children . Public bath is clean and comfortable . However , it seem overly crowded with tour groups checking in . But space is adequate for all. Half board dinner seem pricey but reasonable varieties . Was expecting Jap hotpot set dinner instead of buffet , kind of disappointed in that .
