The location was great, everything else was severely lacking. The front desk was remotely manned; there was never an actual person at the front desk. Housekeeping was marginal. The drain plug in the bathtub was broken. The swing bar security device on the room door was broken. The property overall needs a facelift.

We were not ompressed and would not recommend to others. Remote person for check-in, never saw an actual person at the front desk. Housekeeping was marginal. Swing bar door guard was broken. Drain plug in bathtub was broken. The entire hotel needs to be spruced up. The only positive was it's location.

The sheets were not clean I was charged 20 for a towel with make up. The sofa bed mattress was twin and you could feel the springs throughout the mattress. The hotel location is not bad for a drive to Destin, the free breakfast was good had a variety to from and for the most part the hotel was not dirty. Also its a few close walking food options.

The A/C didn’t work at all had to go out and buy two fans was told there’s nothing they could do but give us 20% back on the room. Very hot and sweaty night in an unpleasant way!

The room was very clean & had nice modern decor. The beds were above average. I slept like a baby. My only gripe was that before check-in I sat in the lobby waiting for my husband to come out of the restroom & the front desk guy on the screen kept asking me if he could help me as though I was loitering or a vagrant which I did not appreciate.

The front lobby area was horribly warm. My elderly mother and I stayed there for three nights, and on the second day, the elevator broke down. My mother had to climb up and down the stairs several times, and I had to carry several bags of luggage downstairs.

Stay away!

Did not like that we couldn’t actually talk to a physical person upon checking in. It was just a virtual kiosk. We asked for a late check out at noon and was told it would be ok. Then at 10:56 someone knocking on the door telling me to checkout and they wouldn’t honor the 12 pm checkout…. Also saw a roach crawling around which made me worry that I would have them in my bag!
