The property itself was beautiful. That being said, the room we were given was not the photos listed on the website. It felt disingenuous. Unfortunatly, the experience didn't match the high prices. Breakfast was 30 euros and parking was 30 euros a day in their private lot. I understand the location but being taken advantage of is never fun. I wouldn't stay again.

Terrible value

Very dated room and smaller than the room our friends booked for less money at the same hotel! Dirty shag carpets. Not a separate sitting area as advertised. Balcony was so tiny it could only fit one person. Room was not ready upon arrival at 3:10pm. We had to wait 20 more minutes and Wagner we were escorted to the room the cleaning staff were still in the room. Only saving grace is the location and view but not good value. Hairdryer was from the 1950s and barely worked.

The stay at the hotel didn’t start off well as the room we were given had a very bad smell and the space between the sink and the toilet was very tight which made it very hard to go to the loo and also the water didn’t flow properly on the shower head. We had a sleepless night. Next day we complained to the receptionist called Paulina. She listened to us and was very empathetic and transferred us to a different room which then made our holiday enjoyable. Thank you very much Paulina. The hotel is in lovely location with amazing sea views and walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants. Friendly staff

Staff EXCELLENT and friendly! Room extremely small! Bathtub very high and difficult to climb over. Handheld shower only. Fire alarm went off and woke us up. No acknowledgement from front desk in the morning. Fine hotel for athletic young person. Very clean.

A wonderful hotel. Staff were so polite and helpful. Breakfast was perfect - such a wide variety of hot and cold food. Beautifully decorated with lots of plants in outside areas. Our room was so clean and bed was confortable. The location was perfect; on seafront but only 15 min walk into old town. Would definitely stay again . Thank you

Ok so this hotel is Beautiful, GOOD location and Excellent breakfast bar offered. However, room was on dirty side and the shower was awful setup; water everywhere each shower. We constantly had to ask for extra towels. AND most important - this site does not offer beach chairs. You have to pay so look on.

Quite an exceptional, historic, hotel, right on the seafront. It is a short walk to the main train station and to the old town. There are many, many restaurants and eateries close by, and if you want an on the go snack, there are good supermarkets too We were very impressed by our room - on two levels - which had a beautiful view of the sea from the large windows and small bathroom. Everywhere was very modern, even though the hotel was a real classic. From the usb ports by the bed, to the waterfall shower, we loved the combination of old-world charm and modern convenience. We ate breakfast in the garden daily, overlooking the sea. It was delicious, varied and plentiful. Who wouldn't want hot chocolate, croissants, and fresh fruit salad or bacon, eggs, hash browns and beans, everyday? There was also an excellent selection of cheese, meat, fish, eggs and pancakes as well as a cornucopia of pastries. It was a real delight. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially the woman from housekeeping who popped by to see if we needed anything each evening. I will definitely will stay here the next time ai am in Nice; it was exceptional.
