I am sorry I had the worst experience! My room smelled when I walked in. And sheets were stained! When I complained, they change the room but the smell was in there, not sure if the carpet is old, not enough air circulation! Or just using cleaning supplies that is fume bad! The manger was rude!

Having a full ocean view off the promenade was the best thing that could be said about it and probably the only thing. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom that were functioning. If it were to function, there would be only one. The hold for the toilet paper did not work. It was separated from the wall. They heated towel rack did not work properly and had pieces missing. There were no amenities to speak of. A man who said he was the hotel director, named Frank, was obviously ill prepared to interact with customers, and essentially was extremely rude, not just impolite. He seemed to be a fish out of water and totally reactive and unprepared for knowing how you deal with customers in a hospitality situation. He really made this stay just by virtue of who he is uncomfortable for us and it’s clear to me he has that same effect on some of the employees. Perhaps all of them for all I know. This is not a man who should be in the position of director. He apparently does not understand who he’s really working for.

Great location and good standard
Great location in the city, friendly and service minded staff, clean room. The room had no working air conditioning, luckily it wasn’t that hot outside. Overall we are very pleased with our stay.

The hotel is well located and felt safe. However, it could benefit from a renovation, particularly with a more modern aesthetic and additional open areas outside or in the back. The air conditioning in the rooms was not functioning at its full capacity, which could be improved. The breakfast, priced between 19 to 21 euros, is worthwhile if you prefer buffet-style meals. However, I believe you can find better quality and deals at nearby restaurants, just a short 1-2 block walk from the hotel. The location is convenient, and it’s a nice place for a short stay of 1-2 days, particularly in October, November, or December, as the cool air can be enjoyed by opening the windows. I had no issues with the administration; they were very friendly and accommodating. Avis sur l’hôtel L’hôtel est bien situé et donne un sentiment de sécurité. Cependant, il pourrait bénéficier d’une rénovation, notamment avec une esthétique plus moderne et des espaces extérieurs supplémentaires, peut-être à l’arrière. La climatisation dans les chambres ne fonctionnait pas à pleine capacité, ce qui pourrait être amélioré. Le petit-déjeuner, proposé entre 19 et 21 euros, vaut le coup si vous aimez les repas sous forme de buffet. Toutefois, je pense que vous pouvez trouver des repas de meilleure qualité à un meilleur prix dans les restaurants à proximité, à seulement 1 ou 2 pâtés de maisons. Excellent location, lovely hotel on the promenade. A 10 - 15 minute walk to the train station. Highly recommended! The only things I would suggest to change would be more storage for clothes, just 7 coat hangers for two of is staying a week, we did ask for more which the hotel reception did supply. No iron or ironing board in the room. Ironing "room" was on the third floor by the lift but it certainly needed a makeover. It was damp with a filthy ironing board and a open window with a potential fall 3 floors down into the centre of the hotel. Not very safe at all and it should be locked surely?! Otherwise, a fabulous hotel. Friendly staff.
