The staff and hotel are fabulous! The people who live in the hotel are noisy and rude. Slamming doors and yelling and fighting drunk in the hallways.

To be honest, the place seems new and it was certainly clean. But, there were some setbacks. Lobby bathroom was out of service (so someone in our party has to wait until we checked in and got into our room after a long drive), ice machine on our floor was off (and/or out of service) and the TV in our room was not working and the only employee on staff was unable to connect it to the cable service. Just basic inconveniences. The room was clean and modern. But, those basic amenities were not met.

We will never stay anywhere but a best western! When our air bnb we rented ended up being disgusting, we were able to book a full stay the day of at best western for a very reasonable price!! Everything in the hotel was very clean and well kept! The breakfast they had was also good. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

I stayed in New London for an event that was in Clinton CT 20 min away. This hotel should have 4 stars. Renovation is stellar. Dont read in to the older reviews, look at the new ones. Best bang for my buck- no doubt about it. I will most definitely stay here again if their prices stay the same. Rarely do i stay somewhere and feel like what i spent was worth it. There wasnt even any dust on the handicap rails in the bathroom. They legit clean all the things. I didnt think to take a pic of the room itself but i am PICKY and i assure you, the room was clean. 4 stars for area around bc there was construction going on at the entrance (the city was doing road work- no fault of the hotel) and pulling in was a little tight and confusing. Again, no fault of the hotel itself. Other businesses were also affected by the road work. If i knew exactly when my next stay was, id have booked the room before i even checked out that morning. 11am checkout & 3pm check in.

The area is not the greatest right now because of all the construction. However, the property was remodeled recently and it is very nice and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly for the most part. However, we ran out of toilet paper on our second night there and apparently only housekeeping has access to toilet paper, so we had to make a last minute run to Walmart before they closed for the day so we could have toilet paper for the night, which was inconvenient as we were getting ready to go to bed for the night. Other than that we had no.complaints.

The hotel is newly renovated and is very clean. The outside view and around building is a mess right now due to renovations I believe. You can hear a lot in the room bc the walls seem thin and not insulated. But overall, nice Best Western.
