Wonderful place to stay with my son for our short trip to Niagara Falls. I’d definitely stay again and recommend this hotel. Staff was wonderful the whole time and the place has such an eclectic atmosphere.

Property and amenities were as promised. Parking was convenient and included ! Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was covered with a variety of options to satisfy anyone. Would highly recommend if traveling to the area. The art deco aspect was truly what drew me in to book. So happy I did.

Giacomo was the best choice for us. It is a historical building and residence among the other basic hotel chains. Even the most basic room that we booked was beautiful with a feeling of lushness. It's bathroom is very large and very clean and the robes they offered were comfortable and warm. The bar, though we did not use, has plush sofas. It felt classic and classy. It is also the tallest building in the entire region and contains an observation deck on the 19th floor that was free to use and offered an excellent view of the Canadian shoreline. The front desk called us when we haven't checked in at 9, which was very sweet. All of the employees were exceptionally nice and provided excellent service. We stayed two nights and the hot breakfast options were different and delicious: omelette, biscuits and gravy, sausage and seasoned the potatoes the first day, and then scrambled eggs, potatoes, turkey sausage and French toast the next. There are many different types of bread, bagels, English muffins and muffins and a spare of different spreads. There is also fruit, yogurt and a waffle maker. For beverages there is always a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and lemon water available. For breakfast there is also apple and orange juice. Cookies are offered daytime It is a close walk to everything, the Seneca Casino, Niagara Culinary Institute and of course, the Falls. The only slight issue that we encountered was our keys keeps on deactivating. Would return in the future.

Nice, classic style hotel. Not a ton of extras — the bar is only open for very limited hours — but the hot breakfast was good and the Skyview Lounge is a nice observation area. Secure, gated self-parking is a plus.

Rooms were extremely cold

I'll start with the positive the star was very friendly and attentive. The decor in the hotel was amazing every corner was decorated. The hotel was in walking distance to the Casino, and Niagara Falls if it weren't so cold. Speaking of temperature Our room was extremely cold. I called to the front desk and they turned the heat on. I also paid extra for the fireplace but the heat could only be felt when you're sitting directly in front of the fire place. The lobby smelled great but once I got to the floor that our room was on it smelled like dirty mop water.

We loved the look of the Giacomo so we decided to stay the night. The rooms were spacious and well done, we had a fireplace in ours. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms were spacious, high ceilings and the lounge downstairs has a great atmosphere, we were really happy staying in this boutique hotel. Price was also reasonable. We will stay again if we are in Niagara Falls, NY.
