After staying in the best corner balcony sweet at the Sheridan. I stayed on the 14 th floor in a regular room. The view was fabulous but the pitter patter noise of children running down the hall to the pool is not something I wound ever sign up for . I was traveling with a teenager, but I didn’t need to be placed on the floor near the pool . Other than that I was a nice stay with a nice view of American falls.

Everything was fantastic, besides the fact that we found a condom wrapper under the couch/table in our room upon arriving. Everything else was very clean however that was a bit of a surprise.

Disappointment
I’m really disappointed at couple things happed while we stayed. 1. They gave me a broken crappy plastic water kettle, it didn’t shut off automatically when it reached boiling point. If I didn’t pay attention, it would’ve caused a disaster. I had to call twice and have them to replace the broken one. 2. Some drunken guests(my guess), banged at my door loudly around 11:30pm. I called the front desk right away because we didn’t feel safe. The security came 20 mins or so later, of course he had no idea what happened. And he said they have no security cameras on the hall way or near the elevators(our room was right next to the elevators) This is not a non-name hotel nor a cheap one. I think customers deserve better treatment after spending over CAD$400 for one night. I gave my feedback regarding the kettle and security cameras and asked the management level staff to contact me when I checked out, and I heard NOTHING from Sheraton.

The only complaint I didn't love the in door pool the hotel had to offer, it was cold and foggy , water level was down and the area was not that clean compared to the rest of the hotel, had no hot tub and the overall size of the pool was was very small.

Good time, but noisy room
the room location was terrible, as it was the room 1938 that was right behind the elevators. It was extremely noisy, this room should not be rented out, and turned to a storage room or something. Or discounted heavily and described as a noisier room. Was delighted with the nice touches of the new years eve treats. Staff was great, property was pretty clean. A map would be nice, the place is pretty big.

It was convenient, I could have seen the fireworks and the waterfall from my room. However, when I got to the hotel, I was told by the guys in the temporary parking area that, if I am doing self parking I could not park and drop off my luggage. I did self parking so I parked and my family and I walked down to registration. When I registered, the guy at the desk told me that I can park in the temporary parking area and off load my luggage. I then go to my car and brought it to the temporary parking area, I was told again that I can not park in the temporary parking area, I should park on the road and off load my luggage. I then told him I registered and I was told I can park in the temporary parking area and off load my luggage. He allowed me to park and then took my car car keys . I when to my room only to get the wrong room number. I then when down to registion and get a new room number and I requested a crib for my daughter which came quickly. I then when back to the temporary parking area I saw a different guy and I asked for my keys I was given the wrong car keys, I then pointed out my keys. Around 12:00am the room was hot to hot to sleep my wife and I was up looking through the window opening the glass door to get some cool breeze. The next day I texted the hotel and a guy came and told us to keep the glass door open but we could not with our two year old daughter. I had stayed at that same hotel during COVID-19 and was Loved it, I don't known what happened now.
