No view of the falls. No free parking.
This isn't the best or worst. I understand that parking may not be cheap in the area but paying for a hotel with a big uncovered lot and having to pay 30 dollars a day to park there seems wrong. It's also not very clear that you have to pay that when booking. I traveled 9 hours over night and finally reached the hotel at 8 am with my sons. I wasn't expecting to get into our room so early but we were told to come back at 12 and they would have something ready. We walked around in the cold and rainy weather and came back at 12 as instructed. When we reached the hotel again we were told we would have to wait until 3:00. I've never had a hotel that wouldn't do what they could to check in a customer a little early. We were the first ones in the lobby and eventually it was full. We waited in front of the receptionists until 3 as some later arrivals checked in before us. At 3:00 we were told we would have to change rooms. Not an upgrade or even facing the falls which i don't think is possible to be seen from the hotel but just a change. The view was non existent but I have almost no complaints about the room. It was clean and provided everything we needed. The bathroom was nice and water was great. The ac and heating unit is old and loud and probably needs to be updated but it works. The tv was a little small but had a good amount of channels and a remote that barely worked. My son swam for a few minutes but said the pool was dirty. Breakfast was good. I would not stay here again
