The Restaurant staff in the evening acted as if ours and other customers presence was an inconvenience. It took 10 minutes to be seated in a half empty room, then a further 10 minutes before being asked for drinks which we were never given a drinks menu. A further 10 minutes after that we were then asked for drinks again and we had decided food so ordered food. The food came out in reasonable time but still no drinks for 5 minutes after food had arrived. Food was good but the service ruined the dining experience.
The room we had was fine but the noise outside of the rooms was definitely known. At about 11pm the people staying above arrived back and you could hear them having a shower right above our heads with the water hitting the bottom of the bath. Kids being told off outside our room at 6am trying to open our room door. With the beds not being the comfiest either it was a sleepless night really.
Parking outside is minimal and you have to park out on the road trying to get a space while the general public want the spaces too. Had to wait around 20 minutes for a space to become available.
It’s a shame really because what was supposed to be a relaxing night away was not really that pleasant.
