Everything was good with the property; room was clean, restaurant was good for breakfast, and location is good. Only issue is when I returned home and reviewed the bill in detail I noticed two charges for $35 for parking. We did have a second car which I was told would cost $20. So I sent in a request and still waiting on a response.

The location is wonderful—so convenient and walkable which we absolutely loved. But the price was not worth what we got. The hotel needs some updates. The walls are paper thin. We could hear the people next to us who were very loud. It wasn't just a little bit of noise but you could hear actual words and conversations. If they moved something in their room or banged something on the wall (no clue what they were doing over there...) you could not only hear it, but feel it. We'd be lying in bed and hear and feel a bang. We have a toddler and their nose woke him up and kept us all up for a good part of the night. It's great they have a pool and it's a nice size, but the water looked really murky and the tiles were dirty. We were there on Memorial Day weekend, the kickoff of summer, and you would think it would be freshly cleaned for the start of the busy season. The staff was very nice and they were able to accommodate us with a very early check in which we were extremely grateful for, just disappointed in the quality for the price we paid.

Great hotel to stay in

I have been going up to Newport for the last 8 years 2 children in college I wish I would have booked this hotel years ago. It would have been my starry hotel, the staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, the view was awesome I can go on and on. I will definitely be staying here my next visit

Great harbor view (paid extra for it). Very dated bathroom and elevators. Broken computer for 3 days. Attitude of front desk Manager. Limited dining with poor service. Missed early wake up call. Back to stay at Marriott next time.

Springs in bed uncomfortable .. you could feel them. Coffee system moldy..yuck! WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR THE RUN DOWN hotel. Hammetts wharf MUCH BETTER beautiful clean new same price or lower. Oh and if the hotel is busy you will not recieve housekeeping and 2 night 1200 on May. Ugh

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed the view from our room but the bathroom was tiny and the tv wasn’t good at all. No guide and half the channels didn’t come in. Other than that the staff was friendly and accommodating.
