A very comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant serving excellent evening meals and very high quality cooked breakfasts. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. There were a few, but minor fabric issues that had to be resolved during our stay. These were quickly resolved and did not impact the enjoyment of our time in the hotel

It was a really nice stay with lots of positives, but there were a few little things which meant it didn’t really match up to the billing or alternatives of the same standard. Great food, comfortable room, nice grounds, perfect location. Just a combination of little things which let it down. No towels at the spa, had to take your room ones and take back wet, dressing gown for the spa, but no slippers so you’ve got damp trainers, staff friendly but a bit unsure on things, can I put this drink on my tab? Maybe, not sure, no, actually yes, can I have an invoice if my charges on check out, no, but I can send it to you later etc etc. Little things but just took of the ‘premium shine’ compared to others in the same price bracket. Overall though really enjoyable weekend.
