The check in was painfully slow - receptionist wanted a lot of unnecessary details so ended up waiting for about 15 minutes while she checked three of us in. Also music was quite loud so she couldn’t hear us.

The Hotel is really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our only issue was with the wedding party being in the rooms adjacent to us, starting at 6am on the Saturday morning. The constant chatter and excitement is understandable, but they had their doors wide open so we were disturbed from that point on. Not the hotel's fault but presume as it's a wedding venue, this could be a consideration when deciding where to stay in Newcastle in future.
