Nice view, average stay

It's a bit dated especially the bathrooms. Breakfast was not worth having. View of the river from bedroom was nice although obstructed by the overhanging roof on the top floor. Walking to the hotel is not the most scenic route when coming from city centre and not the safest late at night.

We always stay at this hotel when visiting Newcastle. We know that parking is easy and we can always get a taxi quickly if we need to, as family live just outside the city.

Always receive a warm welcome as soon as you walk in.The staff are very helpful & polite. The hotel is spotless,the rooms are a good size with everything you need. The bar food is delicious,good value & a decent portion. Breakfast is well varied for every diet & needs,hot & topped up regularly. We always come back for the good value & leave feeling so relaxed. Well done!

In need of renovation

The hotel is in poor condition - urgently needs renovation as it feels dated. Rooms are large but poorly furnished. Gym equipment needs replacing. Won't be returning
