The hotel room was large and heating system worked great and was not noisy. Only complaint I had was the TV as the closed caption was always on and we could not figure out how to turn it off.

They have bedbugs

I booked a room here for convenience. I attended a concert in Newark and needed to be in NYC in the morning. It made more sense to stay here rather than driving all the way back home. I checked in, left some items in the room and headed back out to the concert. When we got back to the room we were there for maybe an hour when I noticed something crawling on the headboard. We caught the bug in a tissue and tied it in a plastic bag. I was so creeped out that I put my coat over my pajamas, grabbed my things and left. We altered the front desk WITH the actual bug found and checked out. They offered another room but I didn’t want to stay. I contacted the hotel several times along with hotels.com and I was assured that a refund would be issued by a hotel manager. Hotels.com customer service advised me that they attempted to have the refund issued on several occasions and the hotel denied each request. I have photos and a video of the bug crawling on their headboard. I got out in time enough to not bring anything home with me. But I would never have booked here had I known they have bedbugs.
