I have no issues with the property but some of the staff are rude. The shuttle driver refused to take us from the airport because we had too many luggages. When in fact we were the first to arrive at the pick up area. My husband stayed outside while it was freezing cold to wait for the shuttle yet as the shuttle came the driver first accepted the luggages of the people behind us. By the time he came to our luggages there were no more space. He then shook his head and said “ you got too many luggages, there is no way it will fit in my van”. I responded and said what do you mean, he looked at me and told me not to be aggressive. He told me to take it easy and said to my husband that he will be back for us. After we waited for almost 40mins we have to wait again because of his refusal. When he left, I called the front desk and the person on the phone was no help at all, told me that the person in charge is not on his table and that I should voice my complain as soon as I get into the hotel. Was not apologetic, did not show any compassion but instead showed irritation and rudeness. Never again will I or my family stay in this hotel and use their shuttle service nor recommend them to any of my friends and family. Staff are like robots, they are just there because they need the job. One can tell that they do not live their job at all.

Great room.

After a long hard day, the ladies at the double tree were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately I arrived magically at the same time as an entire group from a cancelled flight. I had to physically stand in line for over an hour. And my/foot back pain was bad.

Room was clean, but there were many areas that needed updating or replacing. For example, tub was peeling, toilet was not high efficiency, cupboard doors were all scratched up, floor tile cracking. Lots of wear and tear. Airport shuttle was great though, which is the reason we chose this hotel.
