My review isn’t so much about the property itself, but more about the experience I had with the booking process. I reserved a room for two nights and planned to pay at the property with my credit card upon arrival. Because my flight was delayed, I didn’t land until around midnight. When I arrived, I was told my reservation had been canceled because Expedia tried to charge my card in advance, and when it didn’t go through, they canceled my booking without notifying me.
Thankfully, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and managed to get me a room for that night. However, I had to find another hotel the next day, which was the last thing I needed considering I was in town for a funeral—not a vacation.
I had stayed at this Comfort Inn before in October and had a wonderful experience—the staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything went smoothly. That’s exactly why I decided to book again.
This situation was through no fault of the hotel—the staff was kind and helpful. But I’ll be honest: *Expedia is a piece of S***. I’ll never use them again and will always book directly with the hotel moving forward.
