The hotel is beautiful and new but it does suffer from being next door to a huge low income housing project. I suggest you ignore Google maps and walk around the project rather than through it. I was only hassled once but always felt on edge. Breakfast was good but they are pretty stingy - the single tray of eggs constantly runs out, there's rarely a meat tray, usually always crowded and hard to find a seat. Scrambled eggs, cold waffles you toast yourself, sometimes meat, cereal, yogurt from the oddest machine I've ever seen - kind of like milking a cow! Sometimes you can get cut fruit and tuna salad but usually it's gone. They really need to put out twice as much. Bed was comfy, shower was good, hotel overall is amazing looking. Best thing is that it's only about 7 min walk from a subway that takes you quickly to midtown and broadway. The worst part is the Wifi is pretty terrible - only about 2 Mbps. They really need to put in a better wifi system. I'd stay again given the good value.

Room was clean and well designed but outlets didn't all work. Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Heating/AC/fan unit in room was very noisy. Area near the hotel was noisy and dirty.
