This was my third time to NYC and I think I finally found my favorite hotel at the Westin. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Our room had amazing views. The hotel is very close to Time Square and the theaters, and a cool jazz club called Birdland. There’s a shake shack right there as well. I liked how we were close to everything but not immediately in time square as it was a little quieter. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needing a taxi. I’ll definitely return!

Phone in room didn’t work and carbon monoxide detector randomly was going off at 6:30 in the morning on the weekend. There’s a lock on the mini fridge but you have to call the front desk to unlock it but the phone in the room didn’t work. Other than that housekeeping was nice and efficient. Beware of extra fees you’ll be charged per day upon check in.

Loved this property for its location, staff was very kind and helpful, very accommodating (helped with getting our taxi to the airport, luggage assistance, unlocking our lockbox when we forgot the code). I will also mention that the cleaning staff was phenomenal and that every day my sister and I came back, the bed was made, the towels were restocked, and everything was cleaned up. However, couple things I did not like were the sink water became WAY too hot and even sometimes when I turned it off and put the cold water on, it would still take forever for it to get cold and sometimes it would just stay hot. So basically unusable at times. They also offered $40 credit towards a meal every day and we tried to take advantage of that for breakfast and I saw that the all-you-can-eat breakfast that you serve yourself by the way, turned out to be around $84 for me and my sister which is just ridiculous for a simple breakfast that was similar in quality to a Hyatt breakfast, eggs/muffins/bacon/etc, which is usually free. So I think the $40 credit was just bait for you to come in so they can charge you more. The elevators were also very crowded, which I understand, but it can take you a bit of time when it stops at every stop in the building. There’s also a great taco shop next-door and a good breakfast shop as well across the street so overall not a bad hotel but there were a couple things that I would not come back for.

Our family had a great time visiting NYC and enjoyed our stay at the Westin. Centrally located, clean and well maintained, great service. One thing to know is there isn’t a mini fridge in the room. That was a miss. But overall we were happy with our stay there.

Great hotel for families. Convenient location to many things (shopping, subways, restaurant row, theaters, etc). Clean room, responsive and helpful staff. They charge a $40 fee/per day that you can get back if you get food or drinks at their restaurant/bar. Make sure you take advantage of it daily or you lose the $40. But overall we really enjoyed our stay!

This property went above and beyond to exceed expectations for my son and I. The concierge who helped book excursions and acquired tickets to attractions, in addition to being helpful and kind really made the trip extra special. The rooms were quiet and spacious, and exactly what we needed for an amazing weekend in NYC. The location is walkable, easily accessed by all major transportation, and in a fantastic location for seeing Broadway shows (which was the main purpose of our trip). Due to staying at the Westin, we also got the bonus of a visit to one of the museums as an added perk of our stay. It made a great weekend of Broadway and college visits even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Overall a very nice hotel. I did have an issue where our smoke alarm went off at 8am on Saturday while we were sleeping (it really scared us) also the sink & bathtub did not drain properly. Staff was very friendly for the most part.
