We enjoyed our stay at this property. From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed by the staff with smiles, including housekeeping staff. The room was quiet and the hotel is in a safe location convenient to the Empire State Bldg. The only negative thing was the bathroom woodwork, tile, and a slight spray with the sink faucet showed signs of aging and could use attention. The bed was comfortable and a request for extra pillows was fulfilled in less than 5 minutes! We will definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our 2 free snacks or drinks each day, but felt the resort fee imposed was too much for that convenience.

Nice hotel that does the job.

Overall the stay was good, hotel was easy walking distance of the main attractions and central station. Room was a bit warm even with the air con on.

This is a great location for those who want to avoid the crowds of Times Square, etc. The staff was top-notch- friendly & professional & helpful. It’s a smaller hotel which means you won’t wait long for an elevator & both elevators worked! The rooms were big by NYC standards. Will definitely stay here again!

This Hotel even through it is old was trending to a solid 4 stars , however , the last 2 nights the bed sheets were incredibly itchy that made it impossible to sleep !! I asked a very nice maid who said the hotel recently changed laundry companies and sometimes when get new sheets powder is coming off them and burn her eyes ! When I approached the from desk they didn't seem very concerned and told me to fill out a survey ? There's a lot to like about this hotel but until they do something about the laundry service I can't go back !!
