Although the broken blinds (no natural light) and malfunctioning TV were disappointing aspects of my otherwise decent stay, the excellent location right by Grand Central and the good value made it worthwhile.

It did not meet our expectations. It was clean and the staff nice. No breakfast or other amenities available makes it a 3. Heat went out in our room so we moved and got a better room. Elevators, lobby and first room were and are cramped. Friday night band at the bar next door kept me up until 1:30 am with the drums and bass reverberating all the way to the 15th floor.

The Renwick was amazing, stayed on a last second whim when the original hotel we booked has roaches. Literally booked 30 minutes before we arrived and the staff was able to find us a room within 15 minutes of arriving. As soon as we walked in they took our bags for us so we weren’t lugging them around and showed us to the breakfast area where we had coffee while we waited to see what they could do for us. The room was clean and spacious, loved that they had a small fridge in the room as well as free water bottles that they replaced daily. One subway stop away from Times Square/Broadway so we’d leave for a matinee, come back and be greeted by the staff and leave again for the night show. Overall a great experience
