I try to stay at the Renwick every time i visit NYC. Each stay is absolutely perfect. The hotel is so nice….clean, comfy beds, excellent decor. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They remember me each time I stay there and this time upgraded me to one of their suites which was so special and made me feel like a Queen for the day! 10/10 recommend!

Small rooms but cute

Loved this boutique hotel, was very cute. My only complaint is that I booked a king bed and the room I was given had maybe a double bed in it. I wish I had been told that at the front desk.

The property was close to everything we wanted to do. We took the train and it was very close to the hotel. For those that drive parking is across the street from the hotel. The staff was friendly and we got offered a late checkout for 12:30. Would definitely recommend

The Renwick is an eclectic little boutique hotel two blocks from Grand Central station. It's ideal location made us choose this hotel for our short New York visit along with its positive reviews. We found that the hotel was perfect for our needs. We especially appreciated the very comfortable king size bed in our room. We were able to go north or south very easily because of its proximity to the station, and there were great cafes and delis Within feet of our room. We also visited the AKC Museum of the Dog across the street. All in all, a wonderful stay. We hope to stay here again.

Overall our room was clean and it felt safe. When checking in it was kind of weird because the front desk was saying different things, I didn’t even get a receipt when I checked out. Cleaning staff was very kind. I loved the bar they have downstairs, it’s a very nice vibe.

One thing I truly hated was the fact that the bathroom was soooo cold and the cold air was constantly blowing out our the vent. The room was clean, however, and designed well. The mattress was ok on the softer side. Clean linens. The mattress had a plastic protective sheet. This was annoying because it made me sweat and I should’ve ripped it out the first night. Good size TV. Small fridge but no coffee maker. We stayed during winter and it was 9*F last night. The cold air in the bathroom shouldn’t be an issue during warmer months. That is when I would stay here again.

This hotel is really well located in the east of 5th avenue, 2 blocks away from Grand Central, 5 minutes walk to Times Square area. Tons of food options. Walkable, safe and clean area. No touristy. The hotel is in good shape, old but really well maintained. Staff is courteous and willing to help. We could not check in early but they offer to store the luggage for us. Room and bedding is fine, in January the room temperature was perfect. Will definitely recommend it.

The Renwick is very close to Grand Central Station, so very convenient to the subway and Metro North trains. There are many dining options available at many different price points. I got a great deal on the hotel rate (it was January) but I continue to be annoyed when hotels slap on a “resort fee” to cover things like free coffee, water and WiFi. This isn’t a resort, and I only got one free coffee. I asked when I checked out if the resort fee was negotiable and I was told no.
