Very pleasant atmosphere for a visit to the Metropolitan Opera, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Central Park. All facilities were very classy. This was our second stay and likely not our last.

The property was fine. The staff was fine. The bed was very comfortable. The room was bigger than average for New York City. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything on your floor, plus people walking around in the room above you. Overall, the hotel is fine but not worth $650 a night. I’m surprised it’s rated 9.8.

The Wallace provides quality, comfort and restfulness all within the bustling big city. Staff are super attentive and friendly, offering bag check services, answering questions and providing extra things for the rooms if needed. As for the room, ours was immaculate. Super clean and comfy bed. We slept so well during our stay. The bathroom was spacious and the rainfall shower was a real treat. We were also fortunate enough to have a room with a nice view of the city. Yes, some construction was happening nearby but we were usually out of the room when this was going on, so not really an issue. All this to say, we would definitly stay at The Wallace again if ever in NYC.

Loved everything about the hotel, the location was perfect. The staff were friendly professional and helpful. Only complaint was the room had a view of a brick wall. I realize a nicer view or a city view would have probably been a charge. It was disappointing because we were only there one night and a view would have been so much nicer.

One of the best hotels
Amazing! The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, about 30 min past check in time, so they upgraded us! We booked a double queen and got upgraded to double queen suite. ALL staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room 401 and had a street view of 76th. It was so quiet at night. Couldn’t hear any other rooms except for doors closing, which, was no bother. Free bottles of water, pretzels, and granola bar stocked daily in mini fridge. Sheets and pillows were very nice. Huge, double head, shower. Near subway if you’re a subway rider. This is my favorite part of the city, so I like to be in a homey area vs nightlife. Will only stay here from here on out.

Lots of lovely features in this hotel and a good location. The room was quite small though - particularly for the price and that we were there for four days. It felt more like a room for one than two. The bed was very comfortable though and we slept well until woken in the morning. Worth noting that there was building work going on behind the hotel which for our room meant noise from 0730.

I had a wonderful experience at The Wallace. The staff was welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The aesthetic is spectacular - I highly recommend checking out the lounge! I'll definitely be booking another visit in the future.
