I stayed here for two nights. I would not stay again. My primary complaint is that guests cannot adjust the room temperature. It’s an old building/hotel and has central heating. My room was hot. The only option was to open the window. Thankfully, I had a courtyard room. Opening the window made the room more noisy, but not as bad as if on the street side. However, random food smells wafted into the room from nearby vents; which was unpleasant. The interior finishes were otherwise tired. It was mostly clean, but with worn carpet and some mold build up in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly. They brought a fan to give the room some air flow. The bed was comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable suite. Easy walking distance to Broadway theaters, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Central Park, and many restaurants. Bed pillows were rather soft for my taste, but that is a matter of personal preference. We returned from an event around 3:00 AM and they had security personnel asking to see our room keys ... I appreciated that they were cautious on behalf of their guests.

Amazing Hospitality Beautiful Room

Extremely impressed with this hotel. From the front desk staff and quick check in, valet attentiveness, concierge, and bell hop we felt so well taken care of. As if we were just swept up into our room upon our arrival. Then when we got to our room we were amazed at how clean it smelled and hoe big the room was. A full kitchenette, big bathroom with separate toilet area, tv in the mirror was a nice touch, couch and tv area, a big welcomeing chair, desk, and the bed was so comfortable and just looked like it was waiting for a princess. Check out was just as smooth and friendly. Location was also perfect. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Perfetto nel cuore di Manhattan

I traveled with a friend and having two bathrooms was great. The sofa bed is also excellent. The only negative is the dirty windows on the outside, a real shame for the view of the panorama!

Good stop for Carnegie Hall

First the good: rooms were pretty big. Was not expecting a living room and separate bedroom. Two bathrooms. Clean, comfortable bed. Great location. The bad: overall rooms, Lobby, elevators in need of some TLC and upgrading. $500 hold for incidentals is ridiculous. This, of course, is not advertised when booking. We’ll see how fast that gets taken off my card. The weird: no drawer in my rooms remained closed! The floors must be sloped but every drawer slides open on its own.
