I hate complaining, but this was terrible.. paid & reserved a nice updated room. Get to the hotel & they said they “DOWNGRADED” us.. somehow the room I booked was taken, so they downgraded - Instead of an upgrade for something that was out of my control.. I paid extra for a room that was decent :/ The room was so old & gross. No microwave, mini fridge, the lock didn’t work, no tissues, the tv never worked.. but the guy at the desk acted like he did us a favor by giving us a room with a king size bed… I PAID for a king size. On a positive note the cleaning ladies we met were very very sweet. Location was good - I’d recommend going to MSocial across the street for the rooftop bar/view of Times Square it was close & really pretty!

We had 4 guests in one room - received one washcloth and 2 towels. I called 2x and visited the front desk to ask to have the room cleaned by the time my 2nd set of guests arrived. Not only wasn’t the room cleaned per my request but it wasn’t cleaned at all. There was no soap and no water - really for $600 per night. I

The photos of this hotel on Hotels.com do not match the condition of the hotel, except for the lobby. The condition of the elevators, hallways and our guest room on the 9th floor and bathroom were old, dated, and in disrepair. The door lock on our room was broken. (Front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating in getting a staffmember to help. He found there was a broken piece in the lock, removed it, and then said that "solved the problem.") The wallpaper, tile, carpet, sink, lamps and furnishings in our room were old, rusty, moldy and worn. There was an old coffeemaker, and no vanity kit (shower cap, q-tips, cotton swabs) commonly found in the bathroom. While the location was great and staff were helpful, I would not recommend this hotel until it is fully renovated.

Recently, the hotel had suffered from a flood due to a broken pipe, and the elevators were out of service. This happened before our stay, and no one had the courtesy to inform us beforehand. When we arrived, they said, "As you know, we had a flood..." When I told them I didn't know anything, they said they didn’t have my contact email because I booked through a third party. I believe they should still be able to communicate with the customer. However, one of the couples traveling with us had booked directly with the hotel and wasn't notified either. We were assigned the 18th floor, and we had to call to have the elevator sent up (operated by a technician), which of course meant a long wait. On another note, the included breakfast is very basic and consists of a muffin, a fruit, and coffee or juice. One of my friends tried to take an extra muffin and was not allowed to do so. Furthermore, there seems to be an issue with the hotel staff, as they had set up a giant inflatable rat as a form of protest in the lobby window, which made everything quite uncomfortable. I would not stay here again. They should have informed us or offered a significant discount.

Worst property I stayed. You pay for the location which was in the heart of Times Square. Breakfast was horrible. They call it grab and go bag. This comprise of a beverage, a fruit and a donut. And my rate was just under $700.00 a night. This is no exaggeration. This hotel is garbage.

The area is conveniently located and parking, while a quite expensive additional charge, was simple. The bed was comfortable. However, the TV didnt work, the GFI outlet was blown and wouldnt reset, the room had no decoration and looked like a motel, the curtains were dingy and the hem was falling out, the bathroom tile was old and broken, the bottom of the bathroom door was clearly damaged, and there was empty space which is a novelty in NYC but no couch or seat, like it was oddly empty. The ice/water machine area ahain looked like a motel, and the "breakfast" that we paid extra for was a prepackaged muffin, 1 piece of fruit ans 1 liquid - not continental. This hotel was not worth $300/night.
