The staff at the hotel are so kind and accommodating. The hotel is situated beautifully between Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen/Restaurant Row. It is a simple and low frills hotel, but beds were comfy and showers were hot, and the employees were wonderful!

The Belvedere is in a great location around a 5 min walk to Times Square and a 12 minute walk to Radio City Music Hall. The hotel has bigger rooms than most NYC hotels, our room had 2 queen beds, bathroom and a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and kettle (although I had to request the kettle as it was missing from the room when we arrived). Receptionist when checking in delivered hotel information parrot fashion and seemed defensive when I made a request, she didn't come across as helpful or friendly which didn't make a good first impression. However, all other staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again when visiting NYC.

Conviently located. Easy check in. GREAT restaurant which gave a hotel discount. Staff was friendly and attentive but…the restaurant with bar and lounge closed at 10 Not good especially on a Saturday night returning to the hotel after a show. Waitstaff was attentive but even though it was a full bar I was unable to get a simple drink like a mudslide—bartender did not know how At check in I inquired about getting a taxi at 6 am when we checked out and was given misinformation by the desk clerk. Found him to be brusk and not very helpful When we asked about a soda machine or coffee, he said we had to go off property Although we were on the 7th floor there were a lot of noises outside during the night And it was not one of the busier thoroughfares

The 1980s would like their deco back. Very dated and worn hotel. Staff was less than helpful when a multi room fight erupted at 1230am. On our floor. Cops were involved. Secondly, the room was freezing from very drafty windows. No access to adjust the heating. Access to working elevators was a problem numerous times. We left early. Such a dump.

Loved the location of the property, but the elevators did not match the mass volume of guests at the hotel. The beds mattresses were very over used with large divots in the bed, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Location was amazing for walking to Broadway and made for a nice place to stay for a few days.

This place was AWFUL. After you double booked rooms, I was refused my original king room after being gaslighted and told that I was getting an "upgrade" from my king sized bed...to a "deluxe queen" Absolute hogwash, as there was no such upgrade, and it was a total grift. Several other guests experienced the same treatment and several had to get a cot in their room because they had booked a bigger room and were essentally downgraded. I ended up having to wander the streets of manhattan to look for another hotel to no avail, as everything was booked, and even though they promised to issue a "refund" I literally had to book a 4 am train to go home to philly because there were literally no other hotels due to easter and passover. I walked around in the dead of night and tried SEVEN other hotels. This is absolutely unaccepatable. Stood at the desk and tried to reason with the manager while he played on his computer and told several of us alternately that he both DID...and DIDNT have any king rooms to revert us too. I really would like a call back and something done to rectifiy the situation, as this could have turned into a very dangerous situation for a female traveling alone.
