Beware of Scammers at front desk!

Please beware of scammers for all who booked the room through an affiliate. We arrived to check in the hotel and I was asked for the exact credit card that they said I used. I used my credit card was deducted the price of the reservation and when I get there, the guy at the front desks tells me I didn’t use that card. So he wanted to refund a ghost card that I have no connection to and wanted to charge me again for my stay. Please!! Do not fall for this trap!! So my family and I were disgusted that they’d try to scam us in person and dare still think that I was “committing fraud to them”. So I canceled the booking right then, right there and filed the fraud complaint.

The hotel is outdated but the overall experience was great. The staff are helpful, resourceful and go out of the way to help you. Amber, our bartender in the lobby, has a great personality and a beautiful person inside and out. Hope you get to travel and achieved your dreams. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Stay on a low floor.

We were trapped in an elevator for 20 minutes with no apology much less any compensation. The cleaning crew, which had all day to clean, finally showed up at 4:45 just as we had returnees to our room. They then said that they had to leave at 5, so we had to vacate our room or else not have it cleaned. And finally, the key cards stopped working the last morning despite signs saying that check out was at 11. Fortunately, one of us was still in the room. There were numerous problems wit broken elevators but being trapped for 20 minutes was scary and uncomfortable. The walls are also quite thin. We could hear people next door and from upstairs.
