Good location near subway & central park. Room comfortable. Missed bedside cabinet on 1 side. Shower gel empty on arrival, filled when requested tho. Missed kettle / coffee making facilities. Requested fridge but didnt get it (availability). Overall value for money - uncertain.

Usual NY hotel - nothing special one could expect from 4 star hotel. Well, if you visit NY, not hotel, you can stay. 7th ave was surprisingly quiet (I was on 4th floor). Luckily I didn't need AC, which is in-room -- always terrible design. Windows are outdated (I just replaced in my house, I know). Bathroom is OK. Bed is too large for the room, but comfortable.

Decent hotel near the park and other attractions like theater. Pricing high for the quality of hotel and not many amenities. They need to upgrade shower curtains etc. more often than they do. Bathrooms are small and don’t have exhaust systems. Overall great location and good beds are the advantage.

We really liked the Doormen (David & Carmelo); they were exceptional. We really liked Carol (front desk). The blonde who checked us in (don't know her name) was exceptionally rude & unhelpful. Cleaning personal did an awesome job. However, the room was small & dark with no amenities, refrigerator, or microwave. So, was not happy with that. No where to store take out food.

Not a 4star hotel! The best thing about this hotel is the location. Close to Central Park, Times Square, Theater District and the subway (train) station. The lobby is nice too. Here are the things not so nice. Rooms are small and dark. No room service. NO amenities in the room - not even a coffee maker. The rooms are old and the beds not very comfortable. Tiny bathroom. The elevators are insanely slow - you can wait 20 minutes for one to arrive at the busy time - fortunately the very nice cleaning staff showed us how to use the service elevator instead. The front staff is often rude. And be careful of the pricing. You may see a reasonably low price for the first day, but each days price varies from $250 to close to more than $500. I take responsibility for not looking at that more closely - total cost was over 3k for 6 nights. So NOT worth it.

The room was dark and smelled like mildew. Housekeeping took the dirty towels and did not replace them, so I had to get towels from the cart. The bathroom door would not close, it was swollen. And the safe could not be opened.

The windows were dirty, there are no kettles, mini-fridges, or any amenities in the room. The phones don’t work to call reception. There is a line in the lobby for the elevators at all times, and the AC in the room didn’t work & they couldn’t “repair it or offer a discount”. The price would have been better spent at any of the nearby chain hotels. Staff was rude - not to me personally & nothing specific that they did nor are those things their fault - I’m guessing they have a lot of complaints though so they were generally defensive and seemed “bothered” by guests. Still not an excuse if you’re in hospitality. If I could have gotten my money back I would have left after the first few Hours.
