The design is lovely. The cafe was great for grabbing a smoothie or coffee in the mornings. The common spaces were generous and beautiful. The rooms were laid out great and location was good.
A few downsides: it felt like there weren't really people around to help. When we got in they told us casually that the room type we booked (king) was not available. They accommodated us with two rooms which was nice, but it was unexpected. Another morning our key card no longer worked and we got locked out of our room. After bringing up the issue we waited for almost 45 minutes in the lobby to be let back in. Luckily we didn't have anything to get to that morning, but it could have been a very frustrating scenario. We also didn't have room service two of the days.
Not the smoothest experience, but overall a great stay.

This property is everything!
It’s definitely a sultry vibe… Smells of Tom Ford Tobacco-Vanille from the exterior to the interior. The ambiance,The drinks, The rooms,The Grounds.
The icing on the cake…
Dontae and Jessie at the front desk was so considerate and very effective with assisting me with my stay to make the ultimate enjoyable weekend!
I will definitely stay at Public every time I visit the city!

wish there was a bit more service for the price paid and experience that seemed to be offered. a better luggage storage system as many people are seriously inconvenienced by a lack of availability. the amenities and activities were amazing however and i would consider staying again in the future if service was brought up just a notch. the service in the restaurants and clubs is very professional and attentive, i just feel this could be translated more to the hotel guest side of PUBLIC
