Warm hospitality. Truly enjoyed the shared atmosphere of the Mezzanine Café. It made the hotel guests seem like a family. What a great concept!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the rooms are so spacious and generally clean; the breakfast was healthy and balanced. The room also had a fridge and microwave which I was pleasantly surprised about :-) Staff were very kind, friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a 3 min walk from the subway station so I used the subway during my whole trip. I also enjoyed making use of the gym on the 2nd floor which had variation of equipment. My only negatives were that the corners of the rooms had a little dust which the vacuum cleaner misses, the treadmill has a tear in it and the fact that this is a very rough neighbourhood with drug abuse/poverty etc. I travelled alone and was not afraid and it's important to note there are deprived and developing areas in EVERY city, however I would understand why another person would be apprehensive about walking around the local area

I recently stayed here for some time and I have to say it did exceed my expectations due to some of the reviews i’d read. The hotel was clean upon arrival outside and inside. There’s a small boba shop to your right and a dunkin across the street. The staff was extremely pleasant and one employee even went as far as to explain how the hotels amenities work. The staff said good morning and good night when we came in and the room was extremely spacious. I was grateful to have a nice view as well. The tv has netflix and many more you just have to sign in to your own account. Breakfast is from a certain time but hot chocolate is free at any time of the day. I did enjoy my stay and would come back the next time I visit New York City! thank you to the staff for making the experience enjoyable!

Hotel itself is very clean with large rooms and excellent staff. However the area is very bad with no good restaurants nearby and the closest subway entrance was shut for my entire stay. Unfortunately as well it was like an elementary school recess with kids running in the halls up down and all sides until after 10PM.

I stayed here for my birthday with my friends. The man that checked us in we didn’t really understand what he was saying but the check in was pretty smooth and they gave us the opportunity to drop off our bags early and upgrade our room for $8. The staff was nice the only thing was the view was ugly and I wish we would have had more towels during our stay but other than that 8.5/10! Complementary Breakfast!

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel during our family trip to New York for Christmas. The property exceeded our expectations in every way.
