I like the area and the ambiance of the hotel. I didn’t like there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Neither is there water in the rooms. It's supposed to be upscale which the rates indicate, but even a Marriott has a microwave and fridge. I would image most hotels do

Very nice hotel on the upper East side. I stay often in NYC and was very impressed with the Omni. Front desk staff, housekeeping and restaurant staff were all exceptional. Will look to stay here again in the future. Our room was very nice, very comfortable and very clean.

The Omni was a great hotel for the short weekend stay we booked. We chose it for its proximity to a venue for a wedding. In short, while it was a clean lobby and room, it was outdated from the carpeting to the fixtures. The elevators seemed original as well, but you could hear every gear moving and creak. The service was wonderful and when we asked for extra pillows, towels, etc. we got them immediately. We wish for a little more updated look and aesthetic. For a little bit of a nostalgia feel, there was a telephone in the bathroom.

OB made this stay my best stay in NY so far. Staff is nice and professional. Most importantly and what never really happens is that the duvet cover is sewn on top and sides - this is a “detail” every hotel in US should follow. Duvet was light => no sweating, pillows very comfortable. Thank you OB for these “details”!
