As a solo traveler, the room was perfect for what I needed. It was compact but didn’t feel very cramped(actually was bigger than I thought it would be). The shower was a standing shower with adjustable water pressures, also had a detachable shower head. All the soaps and shampoos were minty - I don’t usually like scented stuff but I didn’t mind this. I travel light(one carryon backpack) and the counter/table top at the foot of the bed was plenty space for stuff I wanted to have out(chargers, socks, paper) and there were clothes hangers and a rack on the door itself which I used to hang my backpack and jacket. The shades were great. A basic window blinds and one that blocked out the outdoor sunlight really well. The lights were really nice and bright, light switches in convenient spots. Maybe it was the hours I was using the elevator but I rarely encountered anyone else on them. I would stay here again for any future visit. My only complaints were the air conditioning system was a bit loud, I didn’t spend enough time adjusting it though so that’s probably on me. When switching between the above shower head and the handheld shower head, you’ll get hit with a very brief moment of cold water before the hot water kicks in. Wasn’t really that bad and the hot water comes in pretty quickly. Maybe the corner of the room could have used a quick vacuum before my check in.

No question - New York is expensive and the Times Square area is busy, busy. But this trendy hotel - sleek and modern with its friendly staff - has a great location for theatre goers.
