The service was superior to expectation. I received an early check-in without hassle upon arrival. White glove Bellmen service made it a pleasure to stay. They were dressed in fashion and ready in a flash to arrange a taxi, store your luggage, open the door or simply greet you with a smile. Elegance would be the best word to describe them all. And at a fraction of the cost of staying at other luxury hotels in NYC. The lobby smelled fresh and inviting. The hotel was decorated spectacularly over the holiday season which put you in the festive mood. Not as crowded as some luxury hotels where tourists pour in just to take photos or order a drink. Location is excellent to walk to Rockefeller or Times Square, Central Park, Shops on 5th Avenue etc... I definitely would stay at Lotte again!

The rooms are Holiday Inn Standard at most, showering in a bath tub is just not what you without expect at a hotel that’s called The Pallace and charges rates according to its name. The beds are mediorce and the HVAC, too

Excellent location. Fantastic staff
Great stay. Because of business travel, I have stayed at many hotels in NYC. The Lotte New York Palace is my favorite. While there are some very nice hotels in NYC, the location and the staffing of this hotel sets it apart. I truly marvel at the friendliness of the staff. Special kudos to Maurice in security. He manages the throngs of visitors and tourists in a very very nice way. He even helped take a picture of my wife and me in front of the courtyard Christmas tree.

We liked that the property, was close to a lot of attractions and was a very nice building. The Christmas decor were beautiful, glad we got to see them before they were taken down.

Rene the manager was very helpful he got us inn on a very early check inn without any additional fees. The hotel is beautiful, everything is within walking distance. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about, was the room service/restaurant options at the hotel are pretty limited, but I still would recommend this property, specially during the Christmas season. Starting your day by going down to the lobby and seeing the beautiful decorations and crossing the street to St. patrick’s cathedral to start your day is priceless. If you can get the room with view of the cathedral do it! worth every penny!
