There is always a line at the elevator and it will take you 20 mins anytime you need to go up or down a floor. The rooms are very small and this hotel is just a place to sleep. Not worth staying unless you are cost conscious and get a really low rate

The continental Breakfast was one of the best we had experienced! The elevators at this hotel take a very long time, we ended up taking the stairs for most of our travels. The air conditioning leaked on our stuff and soaked our clothes and the front desk staff were unaccommodating to rectifying the situation.

Great option in NYC!
Hyatt Place Chelsea is in a great location - walking distance to Penn/Moynihan station, multiple subway lines, Chelsea Market and there are many restaurant and bar options nearby. The room was small, but that’s expected in NYC, but was very comfortable. Great view of midtown from 35th floor. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are too small even by NYC standards. The bath area has a flimsy curtain which does not stop the small floor from getting flooded. For the 3 nights we stayed, we had to request housekeeping multiple time to freshen the room which was a low priority for them. The staff is polite, but this is not good value for money.

Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Easy to ealk to several attractions and apoeared a safe area. On the downside ond lift was out of action making the wait to go up and down longer and air con in our room was a bit noisy. Room was reasonable size and bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

The Hotel was good, comfortable beds, fantastic view etc. The only thing I found odd was to put 2 bottles of whater in the room that were free to some people but not us.

Very well situated with walking distance to all places of interest ( midtown, broadway, Chelsea, village etc). Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The low rate we give the hotel is because they have a constant issue with one of the elevators which is not being fixed for a long time ( at least a week). You can spend more than 20 minutes waiting! Also room are very small and there is no hotel lobby at the entrance.
