The hotel location was great as a base for sight seeing, especially with South Ferry subway station just over the road from the hotel next to the Staten Island Ferry terminal. Our room was clean and the view over the water from our room at the front of the hotel was good. Unfortunately the people in the room next door were noisy (loud TV, talking, laughing and singing!) till 03:30AM the first night (Saturday), but on subsequent nights it was ok. At around 00:30AM I asked at reception if they could ask the people next door to be more quiet, but didn't notice any improvement (not blaming the hotel staff, I'm sure they did what they could). Having a locked door between our room and the room next door probably didn't help as that's where most of the noise was coming through. You could hear the lifts going up and down from inside our room, but we got used to it. I would probably stay there again as the staff were great and the room was clean and hotel location was good too if you don't like things too busy in the area immediately outside the hotel.

The staff were really nice & friendly. Martin helped me get my luggage safely stored while I explored more of the city since I had a later flight and checkout is at noon. I do however, wish the rooms were a little more clean. There were crumbs on the floor by the bed, and some hairs in the shower. Maybe just a final walkthrough or deeper clean would be nice. Other than that, I’d come again and the South Ferry station being close is super convenient.

The hotel was a bit hard to locate upon arrival due to the ongoing construction. A lot of construction nearby during this time (April). Staff were amiable and professional. My room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Though, one of the towels had some stain on it. Location is perfectly close to Staten Ferry, which provides access to ferry cruise and the Statute of Liberty. If you plan to spend more time in Midtown, staying in Midtown may be better but more expensive compared to Financial District in this Lower Manhattan. No complimentary breakfast but it has a fitness and laundry room. Overall, satisfied with the service and would stay here again.

This is my new go-to hotel!

I booked at the Hilton after arriving in NYC to find that the hotel I originally booked had been closed down the day before and not notified anyone. When I arrived at the Hilton about 30 mins later, I was able to check in early as there was a room ready! The room was clean, had a microwave and fridge, bed was super comfy, and shower pressure was great. I could hear other guests doors opening and closing but I never heard anything from another room. Front desk staff and housekeeping were wonderful, pleasant and friendly! I was a solo female traveler and never felt unsafe, even though the financial district isn't busy at night. There are several subway stations within walking distance which was great! I went every I needed to go by just getting on at one of the stops near the hotel and going ... never had to change trains. Lots of dining establishments within walking distance. I highly recommend The Dead Rabbit Pub and Frauces Tavern ... both are less than a block away.

Pros: -In the center of everything Cons: -Check in was listed for 3pm. However, I was told I wouldn't be able to check in until after 3:30-4. -Shower head did not work properly. Sprayed everywhere but straight. -Carpenter in both the room and halfway seemed old and outdated. -Getting to the hotel can be a little difficult via gps.

Our stay at this property was perfect for a four day visit to NYC. The financial district was an excellent location, we had the subway and water ferry accessible (walkable and safe distance). But most importantly the staff was incredibly welcoming and beyond helpful (made us feel at home). Martin and Jennifer at reception were incredible too. In-property storage of luggage was definitely a highlight, this helps when flying in before check-in and giving us the opportunity to start explore etc. Overall a wonderful stay, I would stay at this location in the future, highly recommend it.

Great access to the ferrys and subway. About an hour from JFK on the subway. Very windy close to the harbor (went in April) so be prepared for a chill. Had a hard time finding good places for kids to eat nearby, lots of bars. The hotel restaurant didn't have alot of things on the menu that they listed on their website. Rooms comfortable and clean.
