Hampton Inn Guest Services, I had a reservation at your Hampton Inn property on 48th Street, Times Square, NY, from April 14th to 17th. Upon arrival on the evening of April 14th, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and was directed to a nearby hotel for the night, with instructions to return the following day to check in. I was assured that the Uber fare for this inconvenience would be reimbursed. I have sent the email with receipt but haven't received any response. While I appreciate the offer to cover the transportation cost, I want to express my disappointment with the disruption caused. Having to adjust my schedule the next day to check out of one hotel and check in to another was a considerable inconvenience. The purpose of making a reservation in advance is to avoid such issues—especially when traveling on a limited schedule. I kindly request that this feedback be shared with your leadership team, as I hope steps can be taken to prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Highly recommend! As clean as can be! Most of the staff was super friendly and helpful! The location is ideal… right in the middle of everything, including several subways. I selected a king room which was tiny. OK for 2 people for a couple of nights If staying longer I’d suggest a larger room. Definitely check out the rooftop bar! Often the elevator takes quite a long time. It’s frustrating but knowing in advance, plan accordingly. Free breakfast is a nice spread… eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit, coffee, juice, etc. If I find myself in NYC again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

The staff was friendly on check-in and took care of me quickly. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. The expectation that I would need to provide 45 minutes of notice for car pick-up was not communicated, that was an inconvenience upon departure, but perhaps that is normal. There were several bags of food garbage outside rooms that lingered. The elevators to descend take quite a while during busy times causing 10-15 minute delays to exit the hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient for Broadway.

Very convenient location in the heart of Times Square. Good breakfast options (go early, or it's packed, including elevators!). Always felt safe, had great experiences with all the staff, and the gym was an added bonus for those of us who are active. Would definitely stay here again.

I expected more from Hampton Inn

The hotel was fine but the breakfast was cold before 8am. The lobby was so crowded at times you can’t get to the elevators. Moving the front desk to the other side of the entry might help. The elevators had to be pre-programmed, no buttons. This led to too many people programmed for the same elevator. Missed several chances for the elevator because of this as did other guests. It’s such a money grub not cleaning the rooms daily or even every other. But to wait 4 days is ridiculous.
