I stayed one night here so I can be closer to JFK, because I didn't want to be in NYC during the marathon and try to get out that morning for my flight. My room was very spacious and very quiet. Except for the occasional person leaving with their kids. But 90 percent of the time very quiet and peaceful. I was on the 7th floor, had a nice view. And my bed was sooo comfortable, very very nice pillows and bed. I appreciated that there was a bar and food downstairs, as I arrived around dinner time. And the server at the bar was very kind and very patient. The food was good and the drinks too. The breakfast was good too. I really appreciated having a shuttle to the airport the next morning. He was very nice. The only thing is the staff at the front desk seemed a bit impatient with me. Maybe a little more patient. That's all.

This property does not seem like any Hilton property I have ever stayed in. The carpets were frayed in the hallways and room. Walls were damaged. Paint splatters on the bathroom hardware. The parking lot was cramped. I do not believe Hilton allows this hotel to operate under a Hampton Inn name…. Breakfast was very underwhelming. The only thing that was good here was the staff. Pleasant and courteous. Also forgot to mention, the shower seemed messed up with the hot and cold settings. I can not even describe the temperature adventure on a review. I did get it to the right temperature eventually. At the end of the day I would not stay here again. It is not convenient to Manhattan and even JFK shuttle did not leave when we booked it for. I am typing this review as I wait for the late shuttle.

This is a decent hotel with friendly staff. It could be cleaner, there were stains on the sheets and coffee spilled in the elevator. Know that it will be impossible to park in the hotel lot. I was told at the front desk that spots need to be booked in advance, although that was not written anywhere online. There is parking in the area but I would have preferred to park on the property.
