Negative points: Room service trollies always in the narrow hallways which makes getting to and from the lift tricky with lots of stuff. Lifts are extremely busy in the mornings and when groups are checking in check out, this can be particularly frustrating after a long day on your feet when staying above the first few floors or when you have scheduled plans or just want to get breakfast. We spend a good amount of time going up and down or waiting for lifts. The room decor and furniture is a little dated and a bit shabby but is all usable. The bath is very small and really only suitable for young children. Breakfast is exactly the same everyday, sausage patty, scrambled egg, toast, bagels, cereal, there is a waffle machine but only the one so queues are long. A little external noise window shut but it’s nyc centre so expected. A lot of rubbish outside and many people smoking cannabis around the entrance so always smells very pungent. Positive points: Breakfast is very tasty, Staff are super friendly and helpful, The cleaners kept on top of all my children’s mess from crumbs and snacks in our room. Very good location for the price. Quick and simple check in and out. All in all I’d stay again, for the money you can’t complain but just being honest. Positive noisy hotel is situation only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the city, plenty of shops nearby for convenience at all hours. Staff were all lovely and the hotel itself was very clean.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Fairfield by Marriott New York Manhattan Times Square. A hidden gem in the heart of the city, tucked away in a conveniently located, quiet location with the kindest and most friendly staff.
