It was great! Room was remarkably good size for location. Staff was super friendly. Only thing I found strange is there was no early check-in so the line at 3pm was chaotic.

Excellent comfortable beds. We had a view of Lincoln Center, rooftop bar was comfortable and nice for sunset drinks. Staff was very polite and helpful. Excellent access to Central Park, walkable to National History Museum, the Met, the Guggenheim, plus more. We enjoyed this stay very much

Not worth it.
The condition of the room with the bathroom metal being very rusty in the shower head, curtain rods and sink. The bathroom showed a lot of water damage, the shower drain was clogged and the room was overall dated and not very clean. It had an odor and the bed was hard as a rock

Staff was amazing. Everything about the property was run down. Wallpaper peeling, all furniture was rubbed raw or damaged. Beds were hard. Location cannot be beat, though and valet was very convenient.

Upon checking in, our room keys didn't work, and after coming back to the lobby 3 times in a row, they finally sent an escort with us to open our room. Once opened, they said they would try and fix the keys, but they never did. We had to get a staff escort every time we wanted to get into our room. They were slow and spent more time chatting right in front of us at the front-desk than just getting us into our room. Poor run hotel. Staff wasn't helpful. They promised to reduce our bill but never did

It was a great short stay. Clean and quiet, very friendly staff. Rooms look a little run down, needs some more maintenance like painting and the hose for our shower head was linked from overuse. Other than that it’s a great place to stay for a quick in and out trip to NY.

TERRIBLE! If I could give this hotel a zero, I would. They charged the wrong credit card and would not reverse the charges! I spoke with them while I was there, and after I left, and nothing was done!!!!!. There were dogs across the hall that barked all night and no one did anything about it. The room had no air conditioning and no heat. It was 45° at night and 70 during the day and it was completely unbearable, and only the last night I was there did a maintenance man finally fix it. The front desk is terribly rude especially the guy with glasses and he’s the manager. !! So they robbed my pocketbook, I became physically ill from the conditions of the room and I could not sleep because of the noise. Trust me, you do not want to ever stay at this horribly dilapidated with a staff that is rude, unprofessional and did not address any problem!!!HORRIBLE AMITYVILLE HORROR HOTEL! Oh, did I mention the plumbing didn’t work properly and I was splashed in the face with the showerhead that was broken

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, which it claims to be. The rooms are pokey and the bathroom was not up to even a three star standard. It had no ventiliation. No extractor fan. No window. The results were lingering bad smells which permeated the entire small room and condensation from a shower which lasted for quite a while. On the plus side, it has a fabulous location

This is my favorite hotel in the City, but not a good visit this time. Lots of problems in the room. Hairdryer worked intermittently, safety lock on door was broken, for example. Staff was apologetic and gave us a break on the rate
