Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Excellent location. Room small but clean and comfortable. Only issue was the lack of natural light in the room, and we found the heater/air conditioner quite noisy and antiquated. But would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Good location. The building was built in 1923 so the bathrooms are on the small side and have no ventilation and get steamy, which can be hard for people with breathing challenges. The hotel is in the heart of Manhattan and you can hear street noise (sirens/horns) in street facing rooms.

The Epic Empire Hotel
Took my boys to NYC for the first time and couldn't have found a better place to stay. The staff was so nice and the location was amazing. The hotel is older but so charming and clean. Rooftop restaurant was fantastic!

Nice hotel, 2 things we didn't like. 1: There is no room service and the restaurant is separate from the hotel. 2: If you don't get an exterior room, your view is literally other people's hotel rooms. So if we opened our shades, all the other interior rooms see right in. So our room felt a little like a dungeon. Bathrooms could use a refresh too.
