I would have maybe given this property a higher rating until they charged me for my "free" wifi. I have been trying to reach the hotel since I received the bill, but they do not respond to communication through Expedia and they only have a local NYC number. Room was nice, bed comfortable. Expensive for the location. Near two subways but neither have elevators if you have luggage even thought the front desk staff told me I was wrong and directed me to a boarded up elevator. Lots of stairs if you have luggage. Very unhappy about being charged for Wifi which says free on Expedia and also free when you login. I've seen other reviews bringing this up and I've never had this issue at any other hotel I've stayed in, including Courtyard properties. Due to this money grab, I would not stay here again.

Oh man what a bad trip. The front desk people are rude and miserable. On one day, I had a fire alarm go off. On the next night, there was a leak or something. The entire hotel hallway was flooded, and the maintenance team was banging around at 3 am.
