The room was comfortable although rather small. The only down side was the airport shuttle which does not start service until 5:00 in the morning and with a 7:00 am flight that seemed like a bit of a time crunch. As a result I incurred a $25.00 cab ride to the airport at 4:00 am which seemed a bit high.

The hotel was great. The receptionist was great. The rooms were small but clean. My only problem was that I arrived at 10:30 pm. I couldn’t find the hotel shuttle. I was arriving that night and flying elsewhere the next day. I took an Uber thinking it would be $30. It was $280!! I didn’t know what to do. There were all kinds of extras on the bill because of the time of day and that it was so close to Thanksgiving. I was astonished. I would have called the police if I hadn’t been traveling for 17 hours. The hotel is about 10k away from the airport. DON’T TAKE AN UBER FROM JFK. The airport shuttle from the hotel the next morning was seamless and FREE!

The hotel was convenient for our purposes. However, although the website said there was parking, it was two blocks away (in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood) and cost almost $40 per night. Not what I was hoping for in a one-night stay. We ended up parking on the street, around the block. On a good note, the included breakfast was excellent.

There was loud music playing outside and we can hear the traffic from our room. It didn't really bother us much since it wasnt all night. We didn't have to get up too early for our flight so it wasn't an issue. But the airport shuttle did take a while to pick us up from the airport and drop off was at federal circle instead of the terminal.

Much too expensive for what you get
My main complaint is that the room was very expensive (well over $300), and yet there was very little hot water for our shower, and the water pooled everywhere. I was surprised there was only one shuttle an hour to the airport, when clearly most people are staying there to get to the airport.

Just what we needed
A short stay close to the airport. We decided to be close to so we didn’t need to be up too early to catch our flight. Room was comfortable and met our needs. Shuttle was on time which was most important. Room was a little warm probably because it had been pretty cold outside and heat was up to 75. Took a little while to cool the room down. Other than that, room met exactly what we needed.
