Rooms are small. No desk. Chairs are old and uncomfortable. No place to put toiletries in bathroom. Shower way too small ( I’m 6’2” and 215 lbs)… could hardly move.
Facility was nice and clean and food was excellent.
We stayed during the weekdays, very comfortable beds and quaint decorated rooms quiet for sleep. Beautifully renovated 1927 hotel overlooking beautiful park and grounds. I felt glamorous walking through this gorgeous hotel, at the same time such very reasonable room rates. The restaurant Sasha's in the hotel was very good for breakfast. Had drinks at the bar, all staff were so helpful and friendly. I would stay again. The only obsolete thing would be a small frig in the rooms would be tremendously helpful. Found the history of the elite frequented and lived on and near this hotel. Great homage to Johnny Cash & The Carter Family on premises. Short drive to the beaches.
Lovely hotel with easy walking to coffee, restaurants, and shopping. Only complaint is that parking is difficult because the public has access to the small parking lot in front.

The only thing I didn’t like they had no
Fridge Microwave
And the shower wasn’t suitable to shower a 4 year old
The Hacienda is beautiful, historic and just a great place to go for a quiet weekend. Such a great restoration of an old property. Beautiful lobby, rooms, restaurant and bar; one of the best values in the Tampa Bay Area! You can walk to anything in downtown NPR in 5 minutes.
Very nostalgic hotel. Perfectly modernized.
Nicole made maybe the best mojitos ever. And Oscar was very helpful, a pleasure to converse with. Hotel is surrounded by unique restaurants and breweries. Live music abounds on Friday and Saturday nights. Recommend The Social and Bourbon on Main for really fun live music and dancing.
The property was lovely as was our room and the outside park. Unfortunately during our stay we were disappointed with the front desk service and the noise level coming from the restaurant. There was a party hosted until 8:30 and the amount of screaming, loud music and ruckus was extreme. We were very surprised that this was allowed. The vibration and loud noise, yelling and singing came through all the way to our room which was opposite of the party at the restaurant. Their doors were wide open. Maybe the staff can have some rules for events and ensure that everyone at the hotel is comfortable. It’s was really too much. The front desk young lady who was trying to check us in barely made eye contact or smiled when we greeted her. She continuously looked at her computer for approximately 15 min with no one else checking in and did not explain why she was taking so long but she was struggling to do this and finally asked the other young lady next to her for help, multiple times. We thought it’s ok to be new and need assistance in figuring things out but customer service includes communication and at least a smile. It looked like someone of the street without professional dress code came in and tried to check us in with ice cream bowls next to them from the ice cream shop next door. It was just unprofessional and she seemed untrained. At least look up and apologize for making us wait so long and say, “Please give me a moment.”
This place is so incredibly beautiful and peaceful it blew me away. Not only is it a historical hotel with a rich background it is also perfectly located next to downtown with everything you need within walking distance. Furthermore, the staff is incredible! They are super nice, professional and accommodating! I could not recommend this place more. I’ve already booked another stay here just because of how enjoyable it is to stay there.
Beautifully renovated 1920s Hotel. Charming, quaint, super comfortable, cozy and warm…..BUT IT HAS NO USB PORTS ANYWHERE. This is inexcusable in 2024. The park adjacent to the hotel is excellent and great for walking or running and for kids. If they get USB ports, I’ll be back!
