Wonderful property located perfectly for my itinerary. Walked to WWII museum, the French Quarter and the Audubon Aquarium. Staff was amazing! So friendly and welcoming. Very helpful as well.

The rooms are very odd. There is no bathroom. As soon as you walk in the door, you’re greeted by a sink nestled between two closets (two closets was nice however) and then you realize there is a glass door with a toilet behind it and one with a shower. The shower is in the foyer! The bedroom itself was a decent size. The bed was comfortable. The TV was ok. Not too many channels but just enough. The A/C was awful. Never got cool enough and not vents in the foyer where the nonexistent bathroom is. The room was also not as clean as I expected - the floors had hair all over them, the shower had rust, the grout was dirty, and the towels are not in great condition. Housekeeping however was kind and readily available when needed and so was maintenance. Actually all the staff was nice except no one answering the phone at night. This place is popular for party goers to visit and ironically we never ate, drank or partied here. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Such a great place to stay. The staff was top notch. So friendly and willing to help out as needed. Always a smiling face as we were coming and going. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the pool but we did have a fantastic burger in the restaurant. This is our go to hotel going forward.

NOT kid friendly. If someone says Virgin is kid friendly, they are lying. We were very disappointed as the website listed being kid friendly. The pool area is very small and it felt like kids were discouraged to be there. Cute hotel- adults (& dogs) only.
